Dr. Heidi Golding

Dr. Heidi Golding is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and
Nationally Board certified. She has a Doctorate in
Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College
of Oriental Medicine, San Diego. Dr. Golding has
completed an intensive program using Frequency Specific
Micro-current and often incorporates this into her
practice. The use of technology is not new to Heidi as she
spent over ten years in the wireless technology world at
AT&T and Lucent Technologies working with some of the
world’s leading electrical engineers at the prestigious Bell
Labs in New Jersey, where the “big bang theory” was
discovered. Merging current technology with ancient
medicine is a strong passion.
Dr. Golding has performed clinical rotations at San Diego’s
Radys Children’s hospital working with children with
chronic pain and cancer; the San Diego Pacific Oncology
and Hematology Associates, UCSD Free Clinic for the
homeless and underserved and UCSD RIMAC center for
sports medicine and college athletes.
Dr. Golding uses a very gentle classical/Japanese
approach to Acupuncture, specializing in integrative pain
management, insomnia, stress/anxiety and female issues
including PMS, postpartum and menopause. She has
studied with great masters including Masakazu Ikeda
Sensei, Shoji Kobayashi of Japan, as well as Giovani
Maccioci, whom was one of the most highly acclaimed
practitioners in Europe and Daniel Webber of Australia,
Vice-Chair Oncology – World Federation of Chinese
Medicine Societies.
When not treating patients, Dr. Golding loves qi gong and
yoga. She finds it a necessity to continue to work on
flexibility after her early years as a serious gymnast. She
resides in beautiful Colorado with her husband and two
active teenagers. Her family skis, hikes, back-packs, does
slot-canyoning, rock-climbs and loves tubing down the
Poudre River.
