Maria Louize

My name is Maria Louize and I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Holographic Sound Healing Practitioner, Certified Cupping Therapist, Reiki Master, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Artist.

I received a BA degree in Fine Art from Richmond College in London, then went to Colorado School of Healing Arts and became a Certified Massage Therapist in 1990. I’ve enjoyed an ongoing journey of continuing education including Reiki, Holographic Sound Healing, Acutonics (using tuning forks on acupressure points), Bliss Bowls (Sound Healing with Tibetan and Crystal Singing Bowls), Cupping Therapy (ICTA), Marma Point Therapy, Prenatal Massage and Doula training, Neuro Muscular Therapy, Cranio Sacral Therapy, Qi Gong Healing Touch, Spa Treatments, Lomi Lomi, Aromatherapy Lymphatic, Thai Massage, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Microcurrent Point Stimulation (Dolphin), Access Consciousness Bars, and Psych-K.

I completed a 200 hour Hatha Yoga teacher training in 2010, with additional teacher trainings including: Aerial Yoga, Restorative Yoga (with Judith Hanson Lasater), Yin Yoga, Adaptive Yoga, Yoga Trance Dance (with Shiva Rae), Spirit Speak (with Seane Corn), and Yoga Movement Screen.

I offer group classes and individual sessions in Yoga, Qi Gong, and creativity.

I studied Music Thanatology (Chalice of Repose Project), and I offer Massage Therapy, Reiki, and harp music to Hospice patients and their families (as a volunteer).

My intention is to honor each person’s individuality and to provide a nurturing space for people to deeply relax, re-balance, and re-connect with the wisdom, creativity, and healing energy within and flowing through each of us.
